Part of Data centers

Suppose a large data center is proposed for your county. It would bring jobs and property tax revenue for schools and roads. Under your state's rules, its power costs would be spread across all customers, so residents' electric bills would go up. Which comes closer to your view?

Approve it. The tax base for schools and roads, plus the jobs, is worth it even though residents' electric bills go up

Reject it. The tax base and the jobs are not worth raising residents' electric bills to power a company's servers
